What is Cryolipolysis? Cryolipolysis – also known as “fat freezing” – is a method, which was developed in order to treat subcutaneous fat pads with targeted freezing.
How does it work? The fatty tissue in the desired area is sucked in and cooled down by an applicator, so that cold sensitive fat cells can be crystallized and processed by the lymphatic system of the body following apoptosis.
Upper arms, the back (fir tree), buttocks, calves/ knees, chin, hips (waist, pelvic crests), male chest, upper and lower stomach, thighs (inner and outer).
Who is the treatment for?
The Cryolipolysis is indicated for healthy people who have unwanted fat in targeted areas.
Is the treatment painful?
The treatment is painless.
Contraindications Overweight, obesity, uncontrolled diabetes, recent surgeries, patients with hernia at the site to be treated, patients with metallic implants, heart diseases, pregnant women, high sensitivity to cold, cryoglobulinemia (cold related disease).
Applications should be made at intervals of at least 2 months and it is recommended to hold a maximum of 3 sessions in a period of one year.
